The 2016 Cyber Insurance Purchaser's Guide has been published by FSSCC for organizations particularly small and medium-sized enterprises as a reference tool to use when considering the purchase of cyber insurance. It includes an overview of the cyber insurance market and identifies key questions that a perspective policyholder should ask itself, its broker or agent, and its insurer when considering the purchase of cyber insurance.

The FSSCC submitted a sur-reply letter to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) regarding the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) Cybersecurity Assessment Tool (CAT). In the letter, the sector incorporated the September 21, 2015 submission and additionally highlighted four key assertions and recommendations.
